Salesforce - Modernizing Case Management and Compliance Tracking

A Federal Civilian Agency’s Office of the Chief Information Officer required application modernization, previously hosted on Lotus Notes. The agency needed to implement workflows incorporating new regulatory requirements, along with continued enhancements to improve the functionality of their Anti-Dumping/Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) application. 

Kentro executed using SAFe, DevSecOps, and ITIL four best practices, introducing Agile methodologies to track tasks against story points in Microsoft Azure DevOps for increasingly accurate development management. 

Key actions included: 

• Applied automated testing, intrusion prevention, and encryption-based need-to-know permissions, aligned with a Security First and Zero Trust mindset 

• Implemented automation strategies to accelerate development and reduce risk 

• Integrated Leapwork into Azure DevOps for automated unit testing and deployment pipeline automation, and replaced manual testing to minimize workflow disruptions 

Kentro delivered the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of the Litigation Case Management application, with 109 user stories included. The team : 

• Delivered MVP enhancements two months ahead of schedule 

• Completed system enhancements to support new trade enforcement regulations (AB-10 and AB-23) for the (AD/CVD) application 

• Selected as the agency’s partner for continued development and operations & maintenance (O&M) services
