Community Outreach
Support in Our Communities
At Kentro, we’re building our community where every person can thrive. We are very proud of our deep commitment to social responsibility, and we are passionate about supporting our staff in their communities with our talents, funds, and energy.
Annual Giving
We believe that true success includes making a meaningful difference in our communities. We lead an annual Charity Drive where employees nominate their favorite charity and Kentro donates to the top entries across the organization.
When we asked staff to nominate organizations and charities for the company donation fund, they responded with 20+ charities such as Fisher House Foundation, No Kid Hungry, The Arc of Northern Virginia, Homes Not Boarders, the Scratch Foundation and many more representing women’s health, educational STEM programs, medical research, pet rescue, and more. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back through community engagement.

Centered on Service
From our dedicated support of veterans (Carry The Load) to our passionate involvement with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where we get fit together with our annual Fitness Challenge, we understand that the Kentro experience extends beyond our office walls.
Kentro Gives Back
Veterans Are More than Welcome Here
Throughout the year, the Kentro team takes an active role in giving back in our communities. We volunteer, participate and engage in sponsored events across the nation supporting Veterans and first responders, and other groups and facets of community life.
At Kentro, Veterans are fully supported and guided into the Kentro Way. Our Veteran-designed onboarding approach includes culture training, technical workshops, Tricare-compatible health options, and Reserve/Guard-accommodating leave policies. All programming reflects our team’s transition experiences, ensuring relevant support throughout the Veteran employee lifecycle.
Kentro’s CEO, Pinakin Patel, a USAF Veteran drives focus and attention to the needs of those who have served culminating in our Veteran Experience Fireside Chat because, “No one can relate more than another Vet.” Ongoing support includes transition guidance from fellow Veteran employees, quarterly check-ins, personalized performance success plans, and regular touchpoints.
At Kentro, a Veteran leader is chosen by their transitioned colleagues to champion military-focused charity participation with programs such as “Carry the Load,” American Corporate Partners (ACP), and the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program. ACP and V3 aid job seekers to identify, apply and start their next job. Additional sponsorships of military and Veteran-based programs include the THF (The Honor Foundation), for which Kentro teammates review Veteran resumes and facilitate practice reviews to improve interviewing skills, and FourBlock, an organization that provides a 9-week specialized course and mentorship for Veterans transitioning to the business world, whether with Kentro or other organizations.
